Numbers, Numbers, Numbers

My dear followers... let me start off with how great God is. As of right now I am still pregnant. I just pray, pray, and pray I stay pregnant. I'm still not out of the woods, but we are getting closer.

On Thursday (2/3), I started spotting. I thought for sure my pregnancy was over. After a call to Dr. Miracle I was told to go home and relax. My second beta was scheduled for the next day and we would wait and see what the results showed. On Friday (2/4) my results were in and my beta went to 66! Still low, but I was still pregnant. Thank you Jesus! Dr. Miracle decided it was best that I go on bed rest for the weekend and hopefully see some better numbers on Monday.

On Monday (2/7), I was extremely nervous about my beta results. The spotting stopped over the weekend, but after reading some information on goo.gle I was extremely worried. I arrived at the office and Nurse Awesome took my blood and said she would call us around the same time. I went and attended my English class and then went straight to work. Around 3 o' clock the phone rang and it was Nurse Awesome. My beta went to 284! She said to still take it easy because it was still on the low side and to come back Wednesday morning for a repeat beta.

On Wednesday (2/9), I arrived at Dr. Miracles office at 8:15 a.m. Our receptionist (I'll call her Sweetheart) informed me that it would be a little wait because Nurse Awesome was sick and Dr. Miracle was running late. It was no biggie because this never happens at that office. When Dr. Miracle arrived he took my blood and gave me some hopeful words. I have really grown to love everyone in that practice. They are all caring, loving, and empathize when you receive bad news. Okay, I'm getting way off topic.. back to the beta results. Sweetheart called me around 3 o'clock and I could tell by the tone in her voice it was good news. My beta went to 812!!!! Before leaving the office Dr. Miracle told me we would do another blood draw on Friday and then a possible ultrasound next week depending on the numbers :) So Sweetheart told me she would see me bright and early on Friday.

Friday (2/11), Nurse Awesome took my blood and said my numbers were rising nicely. She asked how I was feeling. I told her good, but explained some things that were going on. She assured me that it was all normal. I left and went to work. Nurse Awesome called around 3 o'clock and told me my beta was now at 2,176!!!!!!!!! She said we will have our first ultrasound next Wednesday ( 2/16)!!!!

I am so thankful I'm still pregnant. I appreciate all the prayers and words of kindness. Please continue to keep us in your prayers and pray that our ultrasound goes as expected. Please pray that there is a little bambino (Italian for baby) in there and not just an empty sac. Thank everyone for your love and support.
