Hello. I'm a wife in my young 20's, who's married to the most wonderful man. I'm a mommy to 3 fur children named Fergie, Princess, and Luca. Hoping to one day have a little one of my own. This blog is based around my Life, Love, and Infertility.
In my blog I curse, misspell, don't use proper punctuation, don't put commas in the right place and don't hold back. This is a place I go to write my journey and to relieve frustration. I ask only four things from you while you follow my journey.
1. If you are friends with me on face.book please don'twrite on my wall about my journey. There are some people that just don't understand the decisions my husband and I are forced to make and I don't want negative feedback. 2. I don't ask for you to agree with our decisions but I do ask for you to respect them :) 3. If you don't have anything nice to say, please keep it to yourself. 4. Enjoy my blog and don't be afraid to ask questions. I like to talk about my journey. This is my therapy.
August 2009 - First appointment with RE. He sent us for more bloodwork and testing. All results were coming back fine.
October 2009 - I had an internal ultrasound with saline. TA DA... finally a diadnosis, severe pelvic adhesions. The cause is believed to be from a previous appendectomy.
December 2009 - Underwent a laparoscopic surgery to remove pelvic adhesions. Adhesions were more sever than expected and my RE also discovered endometriosis.
Late December 2009 - At our post opp we were told our new medical plan was D/D/M/S. What does that stand for you ask? Dinner, dancing, movies, and sex. I decided to give it a shot. Our RE was pretty certain we would get pregnant.
March 2010 - We switched doctor's. I was dissappointed because I LOVED my doctor. But so did everyone else and appointments were so hard to get. We also ran into a little insurance problem, so we had no choice but to switch.
Middle March 2010 - First appointment with new RE. We liked him but don't love him. We went over my history and he recommended doing IVF on the next available run dates. Unfortunatley, our insurance only covers IVF after six failed attempts at IUI. Kind of a bummer but hey at least we are getting somewhere, right?
April 2010 - IUI #1 with Clomid. BFN
May 2010 - IUI # 2 with Clomid. BFN
June 2010 - My RE decided he would like to do another laparoscopy because I still showed signs of endometriosis. He was right. I still had endometriosis.
Middle June 2010 - Post opp with Dr. G. He says I'm good to go for my next cycle.
Late June/ Early July 2010- IUI # 3 with Clomid. BF
Middle July 2010- IUI # 4 with Clomid. BFN
August 2010- IUI # 5 with Clomid. BFN
September 2010- IUI #6 with Clomid. BFN

November 4th 2010- Started IVF injections. Follistim 75-150 IU, Menopur 1cc.
November 10th 2010- Follistim lowered to 75 IU.

“Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself... 'How did I get through all of that?”
Elichia I hope your day gets better and I wish you all the luck and prayers on you journey.
